wednesday ladies

brian's boss's wife jan has taken me under her wing and introduced me to her group of friends. every wednesday we get together to share our doha experiences, share cultural information, new shops or restaurants and ones to avoid, and to talk about our family.  i love these women and so blessed to have them in my life.  i have learned so much from them and they have helped me in adapting to life in the east.  here are a few pictures from our outings.

jeanne and her new kitty friend at the green door.  the green door is great shop located in C-Ring that sells regional carpets, scarfs, jewelry, tablecloths, antiques, tables, chairs, etc... all at great low prices and the owner is super friendly and knowledgeable, he knows all the back stories for his products. 

as soon as jeanne's hand touched this pile of runners the cat jumped right on it. 

the group is pretty small right now most of the women go home to see their families and to get out of this hot weather.  so i will post more pictures and info about everyone the next time i see them.
