and we're off . . .

i know it's been more than 3 months since we saw you all and several of you have asked "when are you going to start a blog" well folks today is just that day.  i hope you enjoy the photos and the stories as we begin our life together in a new country, Qatar, which feels more like home each day.   

so we loaded the car with only the things we would need plus a few boxes to ship and head to sf.  Here are a few pics from our first adventure as husband and wife.

the perfect day

we spent the first day in Brian's office filling out customs reports so we could ship a few boxes.  and to say hi to a few friends.  than we had to rush to get the rental car back but we missed that and had to drive down to the airport during rush hour traffic, two and a half hours later we were on the bart heading back to the city.  thank you iphone because we made a reservation at Absinthe.
