we knew someone would eventually make the long trip and who better than a recent college grad, our cousin crystal "mimis" made the adventure out here and stayed with us for three weeks. we had the best time with her and were so happy to share doha with her. we went to the souq (local markets), all the malls, wednesday ladies group, hanging by the pool and gym, baking, brian taught her how to make chicken parmesan, and we got in touch with our mexican heritage by perfecting tortilla making.

it was great to have mimis here but it was even better to go to dubai for a few days...
